Created for Mobica at The Design Show 2024, Mandisa Stay reimagines hospitality as an immersive spatial experience. Drawing from Ancient Egyptian traditions and Asian wellness philosophies, the installation invites visitors into a calm environment where architecture, furniture, and ritual come together.

A Place to Pause
Soft light filters through translucent screens, while timber structures, landscaped courtyards, and carefully framed views create a sequence of quiet spaces. Inspired by both Japanese spatial principles and Egyptian architectural heritage, the installation encourages visitors to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with their surroundings.
Rather than showcasing furniture as individual pieces, Mandisa Stay presents them as part of a complete living environment. Every element contributes to a story of comfort, longevity, and thoughtful living, turning the exhibition booth into a place people could imagine inhabiting rather than simply visiting.
