AlUla, Saudi Arabia 2025

A hotel built within restored mud-brick houses in the ancient city of AlUla.

Designed by
Shahira Fahmy

Rooted in History

AlUla, an ancient city shaped by 200,000 years of human history, has sheltered travelers, traders, and pilgrims for centuries. Dar Tantora brings new life to a collection of traditional mud-brick houses beside the historic oasis.

The restoration preserves AlUla’s traditional architecture while transforming its historic houses into a contemporary hotel.
